So, the Slayer's lot is kind of a downer, right? She Who Is Chosen: to hang out in a lot of graveyards, have no real life, and oh yeah– —die really young, to boot. But that all changed when every Potential Slayer in the world was activated, didn't it? From now on, every girl who could be a Slayer, WOULD be? Maybe, except we got stuck in the middle of the Irish countryside, watching some dumb old Watchers Council fort. Nothing EVER happens here; it's such a drag...

It's probably, like, totally bad luck to wish something exciting would happen, like that ancient Chinese curse, or something? —May You Live In Interesting Times?  Frankly, we could use some interesting around here. I guess there's still old Watcher's Council records stored here, or something like that we don't want the vamps and demons of the world getting their hands on, but it's so BORING here! We're not even anywhere near civilization; the closest town is almost an hour's drive away! You know your life's sad when the most exciting thing that happens each month is driving for an hour to go grocery shopping.
Just once, I wish something would happen out here...

Happy Cruciamentum To Us is a Special Ninjacat Buffy the Vampire Slayer Event where, for the first time EVER, the Players will be playing Activated Slayers from after the TV show ended! You and your fellow Slayers who drew the short straw are stuck in the middle of nowhere in the Irish countryside, supposedly guarding an old Watcher's Council installation. What could possibly be there that needs guarding?
Your Slayer Squad is going to find out, or die trying.

This event will run for five hours, the first hour (or hopefully a bit less) will be spent creating characters at the table, using a modified version of Ninjacat's Build A Scooby System (in this case, you'll be building Actual Activated Slayers, not Scoobies!) Instead of the usual Archetypes, like Clown, Nerd, Watcher, etc., having a Template like Robot or Werewolf or Slayer added to them, this year Players will choose their Slayer's Personality, and modify that base character with their Nationality, which will also determine what style of Slayer they are. The eight Personalities available to choose from are: Artiste, Athlete, Blue-Collar, Computer Geek, Outdoorsy One, Punk, Rich Girl, and Wisecracker. The eight Nationalities that can be applied are: American (Cowgirl), American (Chicago), German (Roma), Indian (Hindi), Irish ("Local"), Korean (Sulsa), Native American (Sioux), and Russian (Siberia). Players will submit their top choices to the GM, who will then assign both halves of their character to each Player. Once the Players have their Personalities and Nationalities, it only takes a little bit of math to figure out the final numbers and copy everything over to the master Character Sheet. It's not hard, and Ninjacat and his faithful assistant will be on hand to help.

Just bring your best Buffyspeak attitude and some melodramatic over-acting (horrible accents are a plus!) and a grand Slaying time will be had by all!
